Sherwin Williams' patented color matching system allow our managers to determine what color your car was originally painted so we can come up with an exact formula for your car. This guarantees that you will get the best match possible at any of our locations.

Did you know that some paint formulas have alternate paint codes?  That means if you’re paint color is sterling silver metallic there could be as many as five different formulas for that one color depending in which city and plant your car was originally painted. Our color matching system and AWX (water based paint), help us get an edge up on body shops that don't use these systems. As you can see, spot painting is very sophisticated. In the 1960’s our painters used to match colors by eye and they used to do a pretty good job. Back then, spot painting was an art…today it’s an exact science.

A little more on AWX. AWX is Sherwin Williams' water based paint system  While good for the environment, this paint is spectacular when it comes to automotive color matching. With AWX we are able to match colors we couldn't match even a few years ago. The durability and sprayability of this paint is superior to most solvent based paints.
